Legendary 24/7 Nationwide Service. For over 100 years, AAA has been the leader in towing and roadside assistance. Need a tow? Contact AAA for help 24-hour hours a day, seven days a week in any car—whether you're the passenger or the driver, and anywhere in the U.S. or Canada. To get roadside service, you’ll need your AAA Membership card and a photo ID. On average, AAA arrives 20 Minutes faster than other tow services.
Stuck in a ditch or need a winch out? In inclement weather, your car can skid off the roadway and end up stuck in a ditch alongside the road. While many drivers are able to drive the car out when conditions are good, pulling a car that’s stuck in mud, snow, or ice is another story. AAA brings help to you 24/7, putting you back on the road so you can get home to your family faster.
If your car will not start, AAA will test your battery and attempt to jump-start your vehicle. If your battery is failing, we can replace it with a new one, on the spot, at a competitive price. Battery replacement is not available in all locations or for all vehicles.
Whenever you get a flat, a AAA technician will come out to install your vehicle’s spare tire. If an inflated spare isn’t available, or if the technician deems the existing spare unsafe, you can have your vehicle towed to an approved facility to get the tire repaired or replaced.
Out of gas and way out of town? If you run out of fuel, AAA will bring you enough to get you to the nearest gas station. Note that if you need diesel fuel, you must request it when you call, and that diesel may not be available in all locations.
We’ve all done it. But the next time you lock your keys inside your car, rely on dependable roadside service from AAA to get you going again. If our technician can’t unlock your vehicle, your AAA towing benefit will cover getting your vehicle to an approved service location.
Our drivers are trained to identify and address vehicles’ most common mechanical problems. We'll make minor adjustments (not requiring parts) in an effort to get your vehicle up and running again. AAA roadside technicians will check fluids, wire connections, and more. Note that services are provided as is, without any warranty or guarantee, and may be temporary in nature. If you can’t start your car or drive it safely, AAA can tow it to an Approved Auto Repair facility.
Schedule a time for a AAA battery technician to come to your vehicle and test your battery, starter, and alternator. We’ll even deliver a new battery, install it and take away your old one (battery purchase required). Battery Service is available to all members, although battery purchase and installation may not be available in all locations.
